The Organization of Chinese Americans, Fairfield County Chapter (OCAFC) is holding its annual Chinese New Year Dinner Dance on Saturday, Feb 2nd at the Stamford Plaza Hotel, 2701 Summer St. in Stamford from 5:30 pm to 11 pm. Festivities begin with a Dragon Dance by students of the Chinese Language School of Fairfield County to herald in the Year of the Snake. Entertainment include Chinese dances by the school, choral performances by the OCAFC Chorus and piano performace by concert pianist Ms Tienni Chen. Raffles add to the festivites. Dinner of traditional Chinese food and evening of ballroom dancing follow.
The event is open to the public. Tickets: $65 for adults and $35 for children between 3 and 13. Call Miranda at 203-962-1533for questions.
